The following qualitative research work represents a case study refering to Peter Pantucek, where the topical discussion about drug consumption rooms in Vienna is been investigated for the focus of prime importance on the dimensions of the social enviroment and the organisation. With the help of expert interviews the opposing opinions oft the involved professionals are exemplified. The significant insight shows that the debate is only partially leaded on a contentional and professional level, due to ideological, political and legal backgrounds, which perform a decisive influence on the expert´s actual field of activity. As a result the discussion about drug consumption rooms in Vienna is at last characterized by that.
